European spot power prices have shown signs of recovery over the last trading session.

• Wind generation and colder weather forecasts are the key drivers.
• Wind generation in Germany is forecast at 10GW against an average of around 17GW.
• Towards the end of the week, European and American models suggest colder weather with temperatures below normal seasonal temperatures. 
• On the gas side, ship tracking data suggests an LNG diversion away from Europe based on lower NBP / TTF pricing. 
• The Qatari Umm Slal had a destination of the UK but turned back towards Asia on Sunday / Monday.
